Hello! I am LeAndrea, a domestic violence survivor committed to making a real impact in the lives of others. This is a safe space where we celebrate personal connections and healing. Together, we can uplift one another and build a brighter future.
As A SURVIVOR
For years, my writing has been about uplifting, inspiring, healing, and encouraging people to believe in themselves again. Through my books, I’ve shared stories, life lessons, and words of encouragement that remind readers that difficult seasons do not have to define their future. But I realized my purpose had to extend beyond the pages of a book. That’s where Safe to Breathe, Inc. was born.
As the Founder, my vision is to reach young people before trauma settles in and begins to shape how they see themselves, their relationships, and their future. Helping to equip youth with healthy coping and healing-mechanism skills they can begin using early—giving them language for their emotions, tools for navigating difficult experiences, and the confidence to seek help when they need it is always the goal.
Because sometimes, healing isn’t about waiting until someone is broken and then asking them to rebuild. Sometimes, it’s about giving them the tools before the brokenness takes root. Safe to Breathe, Inc is committed to creating spaces where children and families navigating traumatic circumstances can feel seen, heard, supported, and safe. Through education, community partnerships, resources, encouragement, and supportive programs, my goal is to help young people understand that what happened to them does not have to determine who they become. And the mission doesn’t stop with the youth. Safe to Breathe, Inc also seeks to support disabled veterans and individuals navigating prison reentry, because everyone deserves an opportunity to heal, rebuild, and move forward with dignity.
My books allowed me to reach people through my words. Safe to Breathe, Inc allows me to turn those words into action.
My hope is to help create a generation that doesn’t have to carry everything silently—to teach them that asking for help is strength, healing is possible, and their story is still being written.
